Mmm...

Italians would refuse to believe it. French would turn away in disgust. I have mixed the two cuisines in the most horrid and delicious fashion. For lunch today, fresh goat cheese crottin filled with figs spread atop a chewy baguette soaked in olive oil. For dinner, penne with peperoncini, crème fraîche, parmigiano, and chervil. And, yes, I ate a lot more than that. That was all that was left when I thought to take the picture.

Oh yeah? Oh yeah? Well, yesterday I had:

- 1 breakfast burrito w/ eggs, cheese & sausage
- 2 chewy granola bars, chocolate chip
- 1 clif bar, chocolate chip
- 2 cups coffee
- 1 chicken burrito plate w/ rice and beans
- 0.5 liter Diet Coke
- 1 more chewy granola bar, chocolate chip
- 1 package M&M's, peanut
- 1 more cup coffee
- 2 heaping servings of macaroni & broccoli in peanut sauce (strange but not so bad)
- 1 bowl ice cream (I think...did I?)

Ah, yes, and I still went to bed hungry. Boise may not have the food of Europe, but it at least has good cycling which means calories burned which means I can eat like a pig, which brings its own sort of satisfaction. :)

Oh oh oh, you just lost sooo many points from the "my sister married the best guy" book (which was ready to burst after viewing the rocket ship picture).

Actually, a burrito sounds pretty good....You should take a cycling trip through Switzerland. Christoph is thinking of doing a 3 week trip from Spain through to Switzerland. I wish wish wish to go, but it would probably take 6 weeks with me along.

Oh no! I need those points! Did I mention that I usually eat better, and less, and...and...and I really hope we have more cardboard boxes...
